Live Art + Poetry with Zoe Anderson and Faith Kerehona

  • Haig Park - north side off Henty Street (near the Haig Park Depot) 60 Henty St Braddon, ACT, 2612 Australia (map)

Zoe writes poems, Faith paints murals. In this performance they're going to collaborate and find out what happens.

Faith and Zoe met and began collaborating on art last year. They're excited about the idea of mixing mediums and metaphors to create art that is immediate, urgent and alive. In this performance they will consider themes of mythology, landscape and renewal.

Come and watch as Faith creates a live artwork in response to Zoe's poetry performance. Zoe will be performing for half an hour as Faith paints, but there will be the opportunity to watch Faith's painting take shape before and after as well, with music from 1-2pm, and again from 2.30-3.30pm

The site is on the northern side of Haig Park near the path that runs from Lonsdale Street up to Henty Street.

This event is part of a Street Art x Poetry project funded by the ACT Government through the Creative Endeavour Program, which brought poets and street artists together for collaboration.
